On November 11, 2021 the University of Illinois College of Medicine honored its Chicago campus faculty during the Faculty Recognition Ceremony at Student Center West. The ceremony honored recipients of the Rising Star and Faculty of the Year awards. Dr. Alexander was conferred the UIC College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology ”Faculty Rising Star” award. Dr. Buhimschi was the recipient of the Faculty of the Year Award for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
