Dr. Anderson is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, with subspecialty certification in pediatric radiology and neuroradiology. He serves on the medical staff at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. Dr. Anderson has an academic appointment as Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Radiology, and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
Active in ISMS since 1975, Dr. Anderson has been serving as Region 3 Trustee and previously served as the Society’s president from 2016-2017. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Illinois Radiological Society, Chicago Radiological Society and numerous other specialty societies. |
Dr. Anderson earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed both his internship and residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He completed fellowships at Michael Reese and the University of Chicago Hospitals. As a full time faculty member of UIC Department of Radiology, Dr. Anderson is considered outstanding clinician and teacher. Dr. Anderson’s term as chair runs through April 2024. |
