Dr. Jonathan Radosta Appointed Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jonathan Radosta has been appointed Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics. This appointment is effective July 21, pending approval of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees.

Jon has served UI Health in various capacities since starting his residency here in 2004. In addition to his attending physician activities, these roles include being a Chief Resident within the Internal Medicine Residency Program, Co-Chief Medical Information Officer for the Epic implementation, and the Chief Ambulatory Medical Officer. He also serves as an Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs in the College of Medicine. Most recently, he has served as the Interim CMO for the past 12 months, and we are most grateful for his instrumental leadership in many of the initiatives aimed at substantial process improvements, infrastructure activation, and physician engagement.
