Research Interest
Dr. Xia is a biostatistician. His major is  medical statistics and major areas of interest include study design and data analysis in the areas of microbiome, metabolomics, longitudinal data, mediation and moderation analyses, multilevel clustered-data, zero-inflated count data, mixed-effects model, GEE and ROC curve. He works on a variety of research projects and clinical trials in gastroenterology, oncology, immunology, microbiome, mental health, public health, social and behavioral sciences, as well as nursing caregiver.
