I grew up in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI and made the grand, one-hour drive to UW-Madison for both undergrad and medical school. During undergrad, I studied Biology and Spanish in between going to Badger football and basketball games. I’m really interested in mental health and wanted to tackle mental heath issues on the “front lines”, which drew me to family medicine. I’m very excited to be at the UIC Family Medicine residency with its strong focus on urban underserved medicine and wonderful learning atmosphere. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and watching all my favorite Wisconsin sports teams.
