Terry L. Nicola, MD, MS is Director of Sports Medicine Rehabilitation, Assistant Professor Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine, and Founder for the Sports Medicine Fellowship at UIC.  Annually named Top Doctor, having received teaching and hospital awards.  Competitive runner, triathlete, coach, and event medical director for distance running events in the Chicagoland Area, research in areas of diagnosis and management of difficult injuries in athletes and general population.  He has served in the United States Olympic Committee for Salt Lake City Olympic Games.  His practice includes evaluation and treatment of sports and work related injuries as well as management of non-surgical musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.
