Tamika Alexander, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Assistant Residency Director. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Alexander provides expert obstetrical care for low and moderate risk pregnancies. She also provides gynecologic care, including contraception, management of complex gynaecological disorders, and surgery for benign gynecology.
Dr. Alexander is actively involved in the teaching and administration of the OBGYN Residency Program. She was a recipient of the prestigious two year Hispanic Center of Excellence Award for faculty development.
Dr. Alexander has been a participant in The MELA Project; a partnership with Mekelle University in Ethiopia to support a new Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
