I am a cytopathologist and surgical pathologist with a special interest in cytology, head and neck pathology, and gastrointestinal pathology. Currently, I am part of the interdisciplinary colorectal cancer team that is working towards obtaining accreditation from the National accreditation program for rectal cancer. Another of my interests is the education of the residents and fellows. I have developed several educational projects with successful results. I participate in the education of the cytopathology fellow and the residents. Some of my roles in the department of pathology include service on departmental committees, implementation of the quality assurance program in surgical pathology, participation in the weekly multidisciplinary colorectal cancer tumor board and molecular tumor board, teaching, research, and collaboration with the residency program. |
