Biographical Info

Education:
Medical School: University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Science
Residency: University of Illinois College of Medicine

Research Interests:
​Gastrointestinal Oncology, Mucosal Immunology

Clinical Interests:
​Gastrointestinal Cancers (pancreatic cancer, hepatocellular cancer, cholangiocarcinoma), Inflammatory Diseases (IBD)

Career Path:
Academic medicine with a majority of my time spent on basic and translational research.

Why UIC for Fellowship:
​The faculty are extremely knowledgeable and approachable, and the fellows are very close knit. In addition, UIC has offered me a lot of flexibility and freedom to start developing my research projects in the lab while also giving me the opportunity to maintain my clinical skills and connections to patients.
