About
Payal grew up in India and Mobile, Alabama. She attended med school at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. She further participated in clinical research at the University of Illinois in Chicago and Massachusetts General Hospital. After completing her intern year at Mohawk Valley Health System, Payal is delighted to return to UIC. Her clinical interests include skin of color, autoimmune blistering disorders, and dermatologic surgery. She loves cooking, hiking in US national parks, and traveling.
