About
Dr. Francisco Padron is a third-year dermatology resident at the University of Illinois Chicago. A proud Chicago native, he completed his undergraduate studies in his hometown before earning his medical degree from Michigan State University. He went on to complete his transitional year at Trinity Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before returning to Chicago to pursue his advanced training in dermatology at UIC.
His clinical interests include surgical dermatology, skin of color, complex medical dermatology, and dermatologic education. He is particularly passionate about addressing healthcare disparities and improving access to dermatologic care in underserved communities.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Padron enjoys staying active through weightlifting, running, biking, swimming, and practicing martial arts. He also values time spent reading and being with family and friends.
