Pediatric Gastroenterology
Pediatric gastroenterology providesa full range of diagnostic and treatment services for children with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. These include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, difficulty feeding or gaining weight, jaundice and liver problems. These conditions can be tough for children to deal with. We understand that, and do our best to relieve their concerns and physical distress.
In addition to a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, we offer specialized care for children who have challenges gaining weight and may require supplemental feeding tubes. Our faculty have further expertise in IBD, celiac disease, food allergic disorders including eosinophilic esophagitis, and foregut disorders such as acid reflux (GER). Three of our physicians are 2022 Top Pediatric Gastroenterologists named in Chicago Magazine.
