

Dr. Jeffrey Yu completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of Alberta in Canada. He went on to complete his fellowship in otology and neurotology at the University of Virginia. He has a clinical interest in surgical techniques of chronic ear surgery and graft materials in ear surgery. His research interests include audiometric tests in the assessment of cochlear implant candidacy and methods of assessing cochlear implant patients in real world acoustic environments.
Dr. Yu's practice includes both pediatric and adult otology. He joined UI health in 2015. He is a member of several multi-disciplinary teams including the UI Facial Nerve program, Vestibular Program and Cochlear Implant program.
