Dr. Van Ann Tran (Ann Tran) is an oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in ophthalmic plastic, orbital, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist. She completed residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and a two-year ASOPRS multi-institutional fellowship in New York City. Additionally, she serves as an adjunct provider at Arbor Eye Care and the North Chicago Veterans Hospital.

Dr. Tran’s primary goal is to provide individualize patient care. Each patient is given a thoughtful customized plan, working together towards a common goal. Her clinical interests include thyroid eye disease, skull-base and orbital tumors, endoscopic orbital surgery, aesthetic surgery, eyelid/brow ptosis and the lacrimal/tearing system. She has received multiple awards during her training, including a surgical fellowship teaching award and has over 60 peer-review research publications, and presented her work at numerous national meetings.
