Dr. Nuzhath Hussain, returned to the Chicago community in 2014 after completing her residency at the University of Southern California. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Dr. Hussain is Medical student Clerkship Director. She is active in medical student education simulation including the “boot camp” for fourth year students going into Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Hussain’s clinical interests also include gynecological surgery, vaginal hysterectomy and management of uterine fibroids. She provides care for girls and teens in a pediatric/adolescent gynecology clinic in the Center for Women’s Health. Dr. Hussain also provides a Spanish-speaking clinic in Mile Square.
Dr. Hussain dedicates time to providing care to international refugees. She is committed to minority women’s health with an emphasis on access, healthcare education and disparities. She has a special interest in provision of care to Chicago’s Hispanic community.
Dr. Hussain is fluent in Spanish, Urdu and Hindi.
