Dr. Hasan graduated medical school from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, followed by residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. She completed fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine from the University of Kansas Medical Center and Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research from George Washington University.
She has, to her credit, peer-reviewed publications, book chapter, poster presentations on “identification and management of cranial anomalies in perinatology”, “endometriosis and other postpartum infections”, “Effect of implementing the 2010 NICHD, ACOG, SMFM Consensus Guidelines on Indications for and Success of Induction of Labor”. She is currently working to characterize the impact of IFNy on human trophoblast stem cells and their ability to differentiate into extravillous trophoblasts in a cell culture model.
Dr. Hasan sees women with high risk pregnancies, preeclampsia and pre-term birth. She has established a diabetes in pregnancy clinic at the Center for Women’s Health.
