Annual Antonio Scommegna, MD Symposium

Since 2005 the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology has held a symposium to honor the career and accomplishments of the late Antonio Scommegna MD, Professor Emeritus and Past Department Head.
For more than 30 years as Chairman, Dr. Scommegna contributed to the training of over 200 of our region’s outstanding obstetricians and gynecologists. He was a pioneer and a leader and made numerous scientific contributions towards progress in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology.
