Biographical Info

Dr. Skias currently serves as the director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He also is an associate professor of clinical neurology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a staff neurologist at the Jesse Brown VA Medical center in Chicago.
Dr. Skias received his medical training from the University of Athens in Greece. He then went on to complete his neurology residency training at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He subsequently completed a neuropathology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and a neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Skias is board certified in neurology and neuropathology.

Dr. Skias’ fields of interest include demyelinating diseases, neuroimmunology, and the neuropathology of multiple sclerosis and other demyelnating diseases.
