Dr. Trivedi has an interest in health services and outcomes research. Her major interest is the improving health outcomes for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). Her current research interests include improving transitions of care among adolescents and young adults with IBD and reducing opiate use among inpatients with IBD. Dr. Trivedi leads a multidisciplinary team of IBD providers that includes physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, and nurse practitioners who provide accessible, timely, and effective care for patients with IBD.
