Research Interest:
I am most interested in GI research in health equity and underserved medicine.
Clinical Interest:
Considering between interventional and general GI.
Career Path:
I hope to work in an urban setting to continue working with underserved patient populations.
Why did you choose UIC for fellowship:
UIC is able to provide exposure to a just about everything you want to see in GI/Hepatology. Extensive opportunities also available in bench and clinical research. Chicago is a large city with the diverse patient population I was looking for. The city itself is also beautiful with amazing experiences and food. Everyone I met on my interview was very kind and I could tell they loved the program.
