The Division of Cardiology welcomes in cardiologist, Elliott Groves. Dr. Groves is an interventional cardiologist who joined the faculty at UIC to develop a program in structural heart interventions. After completing undergraduate and master degrees in bioengineering, Dr. Groves worked in the biomedical industry. He completed his medical degree at Northwestern University. He completed a combined Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular training program through the ABIM research pathway. With sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Stanley Gordon, MD unexpectedly on July 7th at the age of 80. Dr. Gordon developed Harvey, the cardiopulmonary patient simulator which realistically simulates nearly any cardiac disease at the touch of a button by varying blood pressure, pulses, heart sounds, murmurs and breath sounds. INSTRUCTIONS: In order to add a sidebar anchor:

  1. Duplicate the existing item, listed as a 1/6 text field. (Or create a 1/6 column and add a text field, modify the class so it’s exactly “additionalAnchor”).
