Christine Park is a Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology (Department of Anesthesiology) and Professor of Clinical Medicine (Department of Medical Education) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She serves as the Co-Director of the Graham Clinical Performance Center, and as the Associate Head for Learning and Innovation in the Department of Anesthesiology. Dr. Park received her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Yale University, followed by her MD degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed anesthesiology residency at the Brigham and Women’s University.
Dr. Park is the current President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, a global non-profit organization comprising nearly 4000 members from more than 50 countries. She is also a member of the editorial board of its journal, Simulation in Healthcare. Her interests include leadership development, dynamic decision-making during critical events, maintenance of competence in practicing providers, and most importantly, finding and growing new applications for simulation across the health professions.
