I have two great passions: medicine and ministry. For most of my life, I felt that my interest in healthcare and involvement in church activities shaped two very separate parts of my character and identity. I have come to realize that ministry is simply a form of service to others, and it is this intersectionality between ministry and medicine that has drawn me to family medicine. My hope is to continue to address health disparities by going into settings that others might not easily access and providing the community with accurate health information, screening, and teaching. I am passionate about using my perspective and experiences to benefit others, especially marginalized populations, and family medicine offers an empowering platform to do so. Outside of ministry and medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, a nice run or bike ride by the lake, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
