The Family Medicine Social Justice & Human Rights Fund was established to provide support for educational activities for faculty, residents and students who desire advanced training in caring for/advocating for special populations such as LGBTQ, racial & ethnic minorities, the homeless and immigrants. Topics such as racism in healthcare, gender medicine, housing insecurity, correctional medicine, addiction medicine, caring for the homeless and reproductive health are among the many aspects of health disparities central to our residency training.
