The study will address health disparities among Latina adolescents in partnership with community-based organizations in Chicago. Dr. Merrill and her team will adapt an evidence-based sexual and reproductive health intervention for Latina adolescents and their mothers/female caregivers and conduct a pilot optimization trial of the adapted program using the multiphase optimization strategy (MOST) framework. A community advisory board will inform all aspects of the research.
