We have received an NIH R35 grant (2021-2026) to support our ongoing project: "Combined Computational and Experimental Analyses of Gene Regulation by MicroRNAs". This project has been continuously funded by the NIH since 2010, and results from this impactful work have been cited by thousands of publications.
We received an NIH RADx pilot grant on COVID-19 screening using our newly developed RT-LAMP assays. This project is in collaboration with Dr. Nahed Ismail from Department of Pathology.
We received the UIC Chancellor’s Translational Research Initiative (CTRI) Award to develop a saliva-based diagnostic assay for COVID-19 screening. Xin is the PI of this grant.
We received an NIH R56 grant "Regulation of blood coagulation by the ZPI/PZ anticoagulant system". Xin is the PI of this grant.
Our lab has moved to UIC, after staying at Washington University in St. Louis for 13 years.
