UIC Anesthesiology Medical Student Discusses Ways of Reducing Anesthesia Drug Waste at the PGA
In the April 3, 2023, edition of the Anesthesiology News, the article, “Targeted Interventions May Halve Anesthesia Drug Waste” reported on the work of one of our Anesthesiology Medical Students, Raj Patel, BS that was presented at 2022 Annual Postgraduate Assembly in Anesthesiology held in New York City, NY. Raj, along with his team members, were able to identify the primary causes of drug waste and offer possible systematic solutions.
