The GCPC uses standardized patients (SP’s) and medics as key parts of our simulation programs.

These are part-time project-based employees.

Standardized patients are usually professional actors who portray patients in workshops and exams.

Medics are generally paramedics who run simulation equipment and teach basic skills.
