For Standardized Patients & Clinical Skills Instructors

The GCPC uses standardized patients (SP’s) and Clinical Skills Instructors as key parts of our simulation programs.

These are part-time project-based employees.

Standardized patients are usually professional actors who portray patients in workshops and exams.

Clinical Skills Instructors are generally medical professionals who are trained to run the simulation equipment and teach skills from the faculty approved checklists.
