Renewal Information

The renewal of an activity should be submitted in eCME at least 3 months prior to the start date of the upcoming session. The Submission Deadlines & Committee Meeting timetable state the appropriate time to submit a renewal.

The renewal will undergo the same review process as the original proposal (review by CME office, Chicago Committee, then review by the Executive Committee for final approval).

Renewals should be submitted in eCME. Please refer to the applicable Renewal Checklist to guide you through the renewal process.

The forms and templates referenced in the checklists are the same ones that were submitted with the initial application. Click here to access the Forms (for an application). 

Once your renewal paperwork is received in eCME, the CME office will be in contact with you regarding the submission.

Note: The CME office cannot give retro-active credit for activities that have already taken place. This holds true for Grand Rounds, Tumor Boards and other sub-types of RSS activities. To ensure timely review of your renewal, be sure to submit the renewal on time as stated in the Submission Deadlines sheet.
