Alyssa Flanagan MD:

- Interests: I like (in no particular order) traveling, reading (non-medical stuff), cooking (and more importantly, eating), doing that good-for-you cultural stuff (i.e., concerts, theater, etc.), spending time with family and friends, volunteering, running, biking along the lakefront.
- Career Plans: Basically, I have no idea. I am interested in pediatric cardiology especially the care of adults with congenital heart disease. However, I may want to have a real job when I’m done with residency, so general Med-Peds is very appealing. I have an interest in public health and I would like to get my MPH at some point
Amy Huang MD:
- Hometown: Taipei, Taiwan and Cleveland, OH
- Medical School: Case Western Reserve University
- Interests: Ideally, I would love to pursue my interests in photography and yoga a lot more than I am now, but I've been busy trying out different restaurants and exploring the city with Alyssa (oh, that and working of course). I enjoy running, biking, and swimming (though not the same way Orhan does). I am very involved with volunteering, namely through an organization called Tzu Chi Foundation. At work, I like to learn the art of blocking admissions from my favorite senior Jessie.
- Career Plans: I came into residency thinking that I will be some sort of Pediatric specialist - namely Heme-Onc or Cards, but now I'm not sure. Being a Med-Peds hospitalist/PCP has its appeals. Whichever way I go, I plan on doing a lot of international medicine and perhaps going back home to Taiwan to work.
