Stipends and Benefits
Residents receive a full range of benefits including health and disability insurance for themselves and dependents at no charge, malpractice insurance, a month of vacation, an educational allowance and competitive salaries.

In-House Moonlighting: Permanently licensed senior residents may moonlight on the general medicine service at the University of Illinois Hospital during consultation rotations. Fourteen hour shifts are reimbursed at $65/hour.
Educational Allowance covers educational purchases (e.g. books, meetings) up to $600 per year for PG-2s and above.
