The UIC College of Medicine sponsors 53 programs accredited by the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) . Major affiliated hospitals at each site expose residents to a multitude of health care delivery systems and encourage interaction with a variety of patient populations. Excellent state-of-the-art facilities and mentorships are available for clinical research in a number of disciplines.
