PREREQUISITES AND PLACEMENT IN THE CURRICULUM: Students must have completed their M3 Core Clerkships in Medicine and Family Medicine.
PURPOSE: Students will learn geriatrics in a variety of settings: outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care.
INSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES: Students will attend a multidisciplinary geriatrics conference, twice monthly. Each student will conduct an in-depth review of one topic of the student’s choice and present this topic to attendings at the end of the rotation.
