The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Neonatologist to join their faculty. The UIC NICU is certified as a Level III Nursery licensed for 48 beds. A High-Risk Follow-Up clinic, Kangaroo Care, including parental bonding, and an emphasis on the developmental care enhance the service offered by the NICU Team . UIC ‘s Faculty includes additional Pediatric Specialists providing comprehensive care immediately available to those patients needing specialty care beyond neonatology. NICU Faculty members participate in the teaching of the Residents and Fellows. Preferred candidates would be Board Certified with a minimum of three years experience, however new graduates will be considered. Salary and rank commensurate with experience.
