A well-equipped temporal bone laboratory is maintained, and a temporal bone dissection course takes place each academic year. The first-year otolaryngology residents learn temporal bone anatomy in this laboratory, while the more advanced residents study operative procedures by temporal bone dissection under attending staff supervision.
