The Department of Neurosurgery will further advance the field of Neurosciences; provide the highest level of care for all; and educate the future caregivers of medicine.
The Department will lead through innovative research and inventions; excel throughout the full spectrum of clinical care from the basic to the most complex in all services and subspecialties; and creatively illuminate the path to knowledge for those who seek it.
We will fly high the standard of the University and our mission will be carried forward at UIC, the community it serves and beyond.
