A wide variety of pediatric neurosurgical cases are managed by the Pediatric Section, which is headed by a neurosurgeon with sole focus in pediatric neurosurgery. Congenital anomalies including neural tube defects and tethered cord are treated, as well as management of hydrocephalic disorders and a specialty practice in surgical treatment of craniofacial abnormalities.
