Since our clinics are an integral part of the UIC College of Medicine, you may be asked to allow a medical student or resident physician to participate in your care. Many patients find this rewarding and also enjoy the opportunity to learn more about their care along with the trainees. However, if the presence of a trainee makes you uncomfortable just inform the staff and your wishes will be respected.
