Julia Kerolus, MD is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at UI Health. Dr. Kerolus is the director of the Facial Nerve Center. She specializes in complex facial nerve reanimation surgery and aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. She also performs facial cosmetic procedures and numerous nonsurgical treatments for facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Kerolus is dedicated to providing compassionate care to each patient while restoring and enhancing natural facial form and function. She also has a commitment to global patient care and has participated in several international outreach projects providing surgical care to underserved populations. Her research focuses on the development of innovative techniques in facial paralysis surgery, quality improvement, and global healthcare delivery.
