Dr. Rodriguez provides obstetrical care for low and moderate risk pregnancies. She also provides gynecological care including contreception, management of complex gynecological conditions, and she performs surgery for benign gynecology. Dr. Rodriguez served as the Administrative Chief Resident during her residency training. Her numerous service recognition awards include: the Outstanding Laproendoscopic Surgeon Award; multiple Medical Student teaching awards, and Professionalism Awards. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a fourth year medical student. Her research interests include “Knowledge, Attributes and Beliefs about Abortion Law in the State of Illinois”, and “Abortion Legislation Attitudes Study.” Dr. Rodriguez served as Co-President of Medical Students for Choice, and as Board Member of the OB/Gyn Student Interest Group during medical school. She also served as a volunteer at the REST Homeless Shelter Clinic, as well as Healthy Beat, Deborah’s Place to assist formerly homeless women with permanent housing. She served as a bilingual volunteer at the Lekotek Center for children with special needs. Dr. Rodriguez is bilingual in English and Spanish.
