I did my sleep medicine fellowship training at UIC July 2017-June 2018. It was a good training and good experience overall. The program director, attendings and staff are very friendly and helpful. They take feedback seriously and always work on improving the program. Good exposure to many patients with different sleep disorders between the rotations at the UIC sleep lab and the VA hospital. I had no issues passing the sleep medicine board on the first attempt.

The sleep fellowship program at the University of Illinois Chicago has provided me with a unique opportunity to achieve an excellent training in multiple aspects of sleep medicine. The program offers wide clinical and research opportunities. Faculty are diverse and prepare the fellows for an academic or private practice.
