Electrophysiology Fellowship Program

At University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, our mission is to offer unique, advanced diagnostics and therapeutic options for patients with simple and complex rhythm disorders. The fellowship will grant exposure to patients at UIC (1 dedicated EP laboratory, a second will open summer 2018), Jesse Brown VA (JBVA, 1 dedicated EP laboratory) and Christ Medical Center (CMC), a busy tertiary center with 2 dedicated EP laboratories. All are equipped with state-of-the-art 3-dimensional mapping systems in addition to a remote magnetic navigation system at CMC. The section of EP is at the forefront of innovation including cutting-edge research in genetic rhythm disorders, the assessment of novel technologies to improve patient outcome and participation in multicenter, randomized trials.
