The theme for this year’s conference is “Transforming Healthcare Education: Creating a Culture of Quality Improvement”.

We are most pleased to welcome as our keynote speakers this year, Danielle Blouin, MD, MHPE, PhD, Professor, Emergency Medicine, Queen’s University; Secretary, Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) and Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) and Larry Gruppen, PhD, Professor of Medical Education, Department of Learning Health Sciences, University of Michigan Medical School.
The 2017 Conference also marks the MHPE program’s 50th year.  Please join us as we recognize our faculty, celebrate our students and alumni, and explore the impact of the MHPE program over the years. Georges Bordage, MD, PhD, Professor and former Director of our MHPE program, will give a special plenary address in honor of the 50th anniversary celebration.

About the Annual MHPE Summer Conference

The purpose of this activity is to provide a venue for Master of Health Professions Education students and alumni to showcase their work, network with peers and faculty, and lay the groundwork for future collaborations. This two-day conference follows the residency for students completing core course work in the MHPE Online program and is also a part of welcoming the new incoming MHPE students.
