Sleep Science Center

The UIC Sleep Science Center was opened in 2007 to provide state-of-the-art clinical care and advanced research in sleep medicine.  The Sleep Center operates as a multidisciplinary clinic for sleep disorders including outpatient clinics, sleep laboratory testing, clinical research, and durable medical equipment.  UIC Sleep Care DME can provide all the necessary equipment for the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing including sleep apnea.  

Clinical sleep research is currently being conducted by Drs. Herdegen, David Carley, and Sola Olopade.
