Membership

 

Membership in the Cancer Center (CC) is open to faculty members who have a cancer research interest and a shared commitment to collaborate with others to further the scientific goals of the Cancer Center.

There are three membership categories:


Cancer Center members enjoy numerous benefits. Members have many opportunities to collaborate with CC members who share similar cancer research interests. They can also participate in research seminars featuring external speakers and CC members.

Now effective! New Pilot Subsidy Program   Cancer Center members are eligible to receive a direct 25% subsidy on user fees for four designated Research Resources Center cores. For information, please email dawnesmi@uic.edu.
 

How to apply for membership:

1. Complete the online Cancer Center Membership Application. Information you provide will be used by program leaders to help focus and shape the cancer center's research programs.
2. Please send your current NIH biosketch to  rschwind@uic.edu when you submit your application. A blank  NIH biosketch form is available for download.
