These resources include a parallel computing cluster with over 12TB of storage and 6 processors, 13 dedicated analysis workstations, and access to software necessary to program functional MRI paradigms as well as analyze structural, functional and diffusion tensor imaging data.

Software available within the MRI Research Laboratory includes E-Prime, Analyze, Matlab, FSL, SPM, AFNI, Fiasco, SPSS, and DTI Studio. Courses and lecture series on design, analysis, and interpretation of MRI Data occur at the beginning of each academic semester. Workstations with these software packages are available to UIC faculty by appointment.
