Dr. Skias is the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinic at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Staff Neurologist at the Jesse Brown VA Medical center in Chicago.
Dr Skias received his medical training from the University of Athens in Greece. He completed his neurology residency at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. He subsequently completed a Neuropathology fellowship at the Brighan and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA and a Neuroimmunology fellowship at the University of Chicago, IL.
Dr. Skias is board certified in Neurology and Neuropathology.
Dr. Skias field of interest is demyelinating diseases, neuroimmunology and the neuropathology of multiple sclerosis and other demyelnating diseases
