The Cancer Center would like to congratulate CCP member Douglas Thomas, PhD, Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, and Jason Hickok, PhD, Visiting Research Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, and their research team on their publication “Nitric Oxide Modifies Global Histone Methylation by Inhibiting Jumonji C Domain-containing Demethylases,” which was selected as the Paper of the Week by the Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC)!
As selection for the Paper of the Week, the Journal of Biological Chemistry notes, “ “Our editorial board members and associate editors have determined your paper is in the top 2 percent of manuscripts they will review in a year in significance and overall importance. About 50 to 100 papers are selected from the more than 6,600 we publish each year.”
